
There is no time like the holiday season to be reminded of just how thankful we are for friends and family. Here at the Beaufort Branch Library that is especially true of our volunteers. Thanks to their tremendous help we have a few more circulations from previously damaged books, patrons can locate materials newly cataloged, shelved or donated, donated materials are now able to be displayed, programs are successful, events are hosted, and the list goes on.
Where would we be without volunteers? History shows us tremendous achievements made only through the selfless dedication of volunteers in all walks of life. Through organizations of volunteers like the Red Cross, Salvation Army, and numerous other agencies and organizations communities have grown and thrived in the worst of circumstances and the best of opportunities.
So please, won't you take a moment and thank the volunteers in your community for their gift of service?
